Abstract

INDONESIA : Selada romaine (Lactuca sativa L. var. longifolia) merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran di Indonesia yang memiliki beragam gizi dan manfaat serta memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Produksi tanaman Selada romaine mengalami penurunan salah satunya akibat kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh hama Keong semak (Bradybaena similaris). Hama ini merusak bagian daun tanaman dengan menimbulkan gejala daun yang berlubang dan membusuk. Untuk mengurangi intensitas penggunaan pestisida sintetik, pengendalian alternatif serangan hama B. similaris yang bisa digunakan yaitu ekstrak daun picung (Pangium edule) sebagai pestisida nabati. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun picung (Pangium edule) terhadap serangan hama keong semak (Bradybaena similaris) pada tanaman selada romaine (Lactuca sativa L. var. longifolia). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2022 bertempat di Jl. Baruajak, Desa Lembang, Kecamatan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang merupakan kebun 1 dari CV. Bumi Agro Technology. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok non faktorial, terdiri atas 7 tarap perlakuan (A= kontrol B= 10%, C= 15%, D= 20%, E= 25%, F= 30%, G= 35%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun picung tidak berpengaruh terhadap parameter bobot pakan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot kering, dan nisbah pupus akar. Sedangkan, pada parameter mortalitas hama, intensitas serangan hama, dan bobot basah tanaman didapatkan hasil bahwa pemberian konsentrasi ekstrak daun picung 35% merupakan perlakuan yang paling berpengaruh. ENGLISH : Romaine lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. longifolia) is a vegetable commodity in Indonesia that has a variety of nutrients and benefits as well as high economic value. The production of romaine lettuce has decreased, one of which is due to damage caused by bush snails (Bradybaena similaris). This pest damages the leaves of plants by causing symptoms of leaf holes and rot. To reduce the intensity of the use of synthetic pesticides, alternative control of B. similaris pests that can be used is picung leaf extract (Pangium edule) as a vegetable pesticide. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of picung (Pangium edule) leaf extract on a bush snail (Bradybaena similaris) attack on romaine lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. longifolia). The research was carried out from May to August 2022 at Jl. Baruajak, Lembang Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency which is plantation 1 of CV. Bumi Agro Technology. The method used was a non-factorial randomized block design, consisting of 7 treatment levels (A = control, B = 10%, C = 15%, D = 20%, E = 25%, F = 30%, G = 35%). The results showed that the administration of picung leaf extract did not affect the parameters of feed weight, plant height, number of leaves, dry weight, and root decay ratio. Meanwhile, on the parameters of pest mortality, pest attack intensity, and plant wet weight, it was found that 35% concentration of picung leaf extract was the most influential treatment.
