Abstract
INDONESIA : Selada merah merupakan salah satu jenis sayuran dengan jangkauan pasar yang luas dan menjanjikan, karena produksi di Indonesia saat ini belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat secara menyeluruh. Pupuk kotoran ayam bisa menjadi sumber unsur hara yang ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui respons pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah (Lactuca sativa) terhadap pupuk kotoran ayam terfermentasi dan urea. Penelitian kali ini dilaksanakan pada bulan agustus sampai dengan bulan september 2022 yang bertempat di Desa Sukamulya Kecamatan Pangatikan Kabupaten Garut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial 2 Faktor Faktor pertama yaitu takaran pupuk kotoran ayam (k) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan (k1= 0 t ha-1, k2= 10 t ha-1, k3= 20 t ha-1, k4= 30 t ha-1) dan faktor kedua yaitu takaran pupuk urea (u) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan (u0= 0 kg ha-1, u1= 100 kg ha-1, u2= 150 kg ha-1, u3= 200 kg ha-1) diperoleh taraf perlakuan sebanyak 16 taraf perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan sehingga didapat 48 Unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pupuk kotoran ayam pada dosis 10-ton ha-1 dan dosis urea 150 kg ha-1 merupakan taraf yang optimum terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman Selada Merah (Red lettuce). Pemberian pupuk kotoran ayam dan urea terdapat adanya interaksi pada Tinggi Tanaman pada Selada Merah. Namun tidak berpengaruh pada parameter luas daun, bobot basah tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. ENGLISH : Red lettuce is one of the types of vegetables with a broad market reach, as current production in Indonesia cannot adequately meet the overall needs of the population. Chicken manure can serve as an environmentally friendly source of nutrients. The aim of this study is to determine the growth and yield response of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa) to fermented chicken manure and urea fertilizer. This research was conducted from August to September 2022 in the village of Sukamulya, Pangatikan District, Garut Regency.The research employed a Randomized Complete Block Design with 2 Factors. The first factor was the dosage of chicken manure (k), consisting of 4 treatment levels (k1= 0 t ha-1, k2= 10 t ha-1, k3= 20 t ha-1, k4= 30 t ha-1), and the second factor was the dosage of urea fertilizer (u), consisting of 4 treatment levels (u0= 0 kg ha-1, u1= 100 kg ha-1, u2= 150 kg ha-1, u3= 200 kg ha-1). This resulted in a total of 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, yielding a total of 48 experimental units. The research findings indicate that the application of 10 tons per hectare of chicken manure and 150 kg per hectare of urea fertilizer is the optimal dosage for the growth and yield of red lettuce. The combination of chicken manure and urea fertilizer showed interaction effects on the plant height of red lettuce. But, not significantly affect parameters such as leaf area, wet plant weight, and dry plant weight
