Abstract
INDONESIA : Brassica narinosa merupakan salah satu jenis sawi-sawian yang saat ini mulai diminati masyarakat sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatan produksi sawi pagoda di Indonesia. Serangan ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura) menjadi salah satu kendala dalam proses budidaya sawi pagoda yang dapat menurunkan hasil sebesar 80% - 100%. Peningkatan sawi pagoda (Brassica narinosa) dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan pestisida nabati untuk menurunkan serangan hama ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura). Daun picung (Pangium edule) memiliki kandungan zat flavonoid, alkaloid, asam sianida, saponin, dan tanin yang dapat mengganggu sistem pencernaan dan pernafasan hama sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai pestisida nabati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi ekstrak daun picung yang paling efektif dalam mengendalikan hama ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pada uji pendahuluan (In Vitro) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan dan untuk uji utama (In Vivo) menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada uji pendahuluan konsentrasi yang paling efektif yaitu konsentrasi P1 (10.000 ppm) berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas Spodoptera litura dan pada uji utama ekstrak daun picung berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas Spodoptera litura. ENGLISH : Brassica narinosa is a type of mustard greens that is currently becoming increasingly popular with the public, so it is necessary to increase the production of pagoda mustard greens in Indonesia. Armyworm (Spodoptera litura) pest attacks are one of the obstacles in the pagoda mustard cultivation process which can reduce crop yields by 80% - 100%. Increasing the production of pagoda mustard (Brassica narinosa) greens can be done by using botanical pesticides to reduce armyworm (Spodoptera litura) pest attacks. Picung leaves (Pangium edule) contain flavonoids, alkaloids, cyanide acid, saponins and tannins which can disrupt the digestive and respiratory systems of pests so they can be used as a botanical pesticide. The aim of this research is to determine the most effective concentration of picung leaf extract in controlling armyworms (Spodoptera litura). This research use a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) for the preliminary test (In Vitro) consisting of 6 treatments with 4 replications and for the main test (In Vivo) using a Randomized Block Design consisting (RBD) of 6 treatments with 4 replications. Based on the research results, in the preliminary test, the most effective concentration was found to be P1 (10.000 ppm) which had an effect on the mortality Spodoptera litura and the main test picung leaf extract also had an effect on the mortality of Spodoptera litura.
