Abstract

INDONESIA : Dengan meningkatnya jumlah pengguna dan bandwidth terbatas yang tersedia, operator berusaha keras untuk mengoptimalkan jaringan mereka untuk kapasitas yang lebih besar dan peningkatan kualitas cakupan. Penelitian ini memaparkan rancangan dan realisasi antena waveguide dengan slot yang disusun berbasis substrate integrated waveguide. Rancangan antena menggunakan bahan substrat dielektrik FR-4 Epoxy setebal 1,6mm dengan nilai permitivitas relatif 4,25. Antena ini memiliki dimensi panjang sebesar 203,7mm dan lebar sebesar 37,5mm dengan 4 slot persegi panjang identik berjarak 37,2mm antar slotnya yang disusun bersilangan dengan dimensi panjang slot 24,5mm dan lebar slot sebesar 5mm. Antena ini memiliki patch konektor dan patch trapesium yang masing-masing memiliki dimensi lebar patch konektor sebesar 2,4mm, panjang patch konektor 16mm, lebar alas patch trapesium sebesar 37mm dan tinggi patch trapesium sebesar 36mm. Diameter via dengan ukuran 1mm sedangkan jarak antara via atas dan bawah sebesar 33mm. Antenna waveguide harus memenuhi kriteria spesifikasi seperti frekuensi kerja pada 2,4 GHz sesuai dengan frekuensi Wi-Fi. Hasil simulasi desain akhir didapat nilai frekuensi yang memenuhi kriteria spesifikasi yaitu pada 2,4 GHz dengan koefisien refleksi sebesar -34,92 dB dan bandwidth sebesar 1,25%. Hasil realisasi menunjukkan bahwa antena dapat berfungsi pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz dengan koefisien refleksi sebesar -11,72 dB dan bandwidth sebesar 1,67%. ENGLISH : With the increasing number of users and limited bandwidth available, operators are striving to optimize their networks for larger capacity and improved coverage quality. This research presents the design and realization of a waveguide antenna with slots arranged based on substrate integrated waveguide. The antenna design uses a 1.6mm thick FR-4 Epoxy dielectric substrate material with a relative permittivity value of 4.25. This antenna has a length dimension of 203,7mm and a width of 37,5mm with 4 identical rectangular slots 37,2mm apart between slots arranged crosswise with slot length dimensions of 24,5mm and slot width of 5mm. This antenna has a connector patch and a trapezoidal patch, each of which has dimensions of 2,4mm connector patch width, 16mm connector patch length, 37mm trapezoidal patch base width and 36mm trapezoidal patch height. The via diameter is 1mm while the distance between the top and bottom via is 33mm. The waveguide antenna must meet specification criteria such as a working frequency at 2,4 GHz in accordance with the Wi-Fi frequency. The final design simulation results obtained a frequency value that meets the specification criteria at 2,4 GHz with a reflection coefficient of -34,92 dB and a bandwidth of 1,25%. The realization results show that the antenna can function at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with a reflection coefficient of -11,72 dB and a bandwidth of 1,67%.
