Abstract

INDONESIA : Bullying atau perundungan menempati posisi cukup tinggi sebagai permasalahan yang mengakar dan terbanyak dialami oleh para remaja terlebih di lingkungan pendidikan. Sehingga diperlukan penanganan yang tepat untuk menghentikannya. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pihak ketika yang dianggap paling banyak secara kuantitas dan mampu untuk mengintervensi bullying jika dapat merespon dengan tepat, yakni bystander bullying. Melalui persahabatan yang berkualitas, para remaja sebagai bystander diharapkan akan merespon bullying secara tepat dengan berusaha menghentikan bullying sehingga pelaku berhenti dan tidak melakukan bullying lagi. Peneliti beranggapan bahwa Empati dapat memoderasi pengaruh Kualitas Persahabatan dan Respon Bystander Bullying. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh Kualitas Persahabatan terhadap Respon Bystander Bullying, serta melihat apakah Empati memoderasi pengaruh antara keduanya. Sebanyak 217 remaja santri berusia 12 hingga 16 tahun menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah process, yang menunjukkan hasil bahwa Kualitas Persahabatan mempengaruhi Respon Bystander Bullying dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,0247, tetapi empati tidak memoderasi karena nilai Int_1 >0,05 yakni 0,0516. ENGLISH : Bullying or harassment occupies a fairly high position as a deep-rooted problem and is mostly experienced by teenagers, especially in educational environments. So proper treatment is needed to stop it. This research focuses on parties who are considered to be the most numerous in quantity and capable of intervening in bullying if they can respond appropriately, namely bystander bullying. Through quality friendship, it is hoped that teenagers as bystanders will respond to bullying appropriately by trying to stop bullying so that the perpetrator stops and does not bully again. Researchers assume that empathy can moderate the influence of friendship quality and response to bystander bullying. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out and analyze whether there is an influence of Friendship Quality on Bystander Bullying Responses, and to see whether Empathy moderates the influence between the two. A total of 217 teenage students aged 12 to 16 years were respondents in this study. The analysis technique used is process, which shows the results that the Quality of Friendship influences the Bystander Bullying Response with a significance of 0.0247, but empathy does not moderate it because the Int_1 value is >0.05, namely 0.0516.
