Abstract

INDONESIA : Perubahan yang dialami karena globalisasi mengharuskan bidang industri membuat berbagai perubahan agar bisa bertahan. Perubahan yang terjadi di dalam bidang industri diantaranya adalah dalam penetapan skema kerja dan sistem kontrak yang berlaku. Dampak yang diberikan oleh berbagai perubahan ini diantaranya menyebabkan banyak pegawai yang mengalami pemutusan hubungan kerja. Keberlangsungan karir pegawai yang tidak pasti ini menyebabkan rasa ketidakamanan kerja yang dapat menurunkan kinerja pegawai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh locus of control terhadap job insecurity pada pegawai kontrak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 151 orang yang bekerja pada industri tekstil di Bandung. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara simultan antara internal locus of control dan external locus of control terhadap job insecurity para pegawai kontrak di industri tekstil Bandung ENGLISH : The changes experienced due to globalization require the industrial sector to make various changes in order to survive. Changes that occur in the industrial sector include the determination of applicable work schemes and contract systems. The impacts of these various changes include causing many employees to experience layoffs. This uncertain employee career continuity causes a feeling of job insecurity which can reduce employee performance. The aim of this research is to see the influence of locus of control on job insecurity in contract employees. This research uses quantitative methods with a sample size of 151 people who work in the textile industry in Bandung. Data analysis in the study used multiple linier regression with the help of SPSS version 26 software. The results of the F test showed a significance value of 0,00 which means that there is a simultaneous significant influence between internal locus of control and external locus of control on job insecurity of contract employees textile industry in Bandung.
