Abstract

One of the YouTube channels that is used as a media for da'wah is the Koh Dennis Lim YouTube channel . This YouTube channel contains content from Dennis Lim's lectures which he gave in various places, as well as re-uploads ( reposts). Instagram livestreaming . In his lecture, Dennis Lim brought a millennial lecture style, straightforward and clear. This is what makes young people interested in the lectures he delivers. Dennis Lim often quotes Hadiths without mentioning the sanad or even just mentioning the translation of the Hadith. This is what raises doubts about the quality of the hadiths he quoted in his lecture. Thus, this research was conducted to find out what hadiths he quoted and what the quality of the hadith sanads were. The aims of this research are: 1) Knowing the Hadiths on Koh Dennis Lim's YouTube channel and 2) Knowing the quality of the Hadiths on Koh Dennis Lim's YouTube channel . This research is descriptive-analytic in nature, that is, the data that has been collected is then described objectively for conceptual analysis. This research refers to the book Rijāl al-Ḥadīṣ, the book Takhrīj al-Ḥadīṣ and other scientific works related to the research theme in the form of books, theses, journal articles and other writings that discuss this research. This research uses library research . Research that uses library sources to obtain research data . The study of Hadith continues to develop along with the development of human civilization from time to time. Al-Dirasah al-Islamiyyah is something interesting in the global era where religious studies have developed well in accordance with the nature of science which will always experience development . The digital media that is often used as a medium for da'wah is YouTube. One of the lecturers who uses YouTube as a medium for preaching is Dennis Lim on the Koh Dennis Lim YouTube channel . The lecturer conveys the values of Islamic teachings with contextual understanding, so that the lecturer often mentions Hadiths without mentioning the sanad. All the recitation content that will be researched is content that has been uploaded to his YouTube page, namely on the Koh Dennis Lim YouTube channel . The results of this research show ten Hadiths quoted from Dennis Lim's lecture on Dennis Lim's YouTube channel , including: 1) There are 10 Hadiths that will be researched. 2) There are six Hadiths of Ṣaḥīḥ quality, three Hadith of Ṣaḥīḥ li gairihi quality and one Hadiths of Ḥasan quality . Thus, the majority of the hadiths that Dennis Lim conveyed in his lecture were of Ṣaḥīḥ quality.
