Abstract

Manuscripts as cultural heritage and knowledge from ancestors are an object that must be continuously preserved in each generation. Likewise with Islamic sciences that continue to be maintained until now thanks to the culture of manuscript preservation from the golden age of Islam, both during the time of mutaqaddimin, mutaakhirin and contemporary. Cultural influences then gave rise to several new patterns in the study of Islamic manuscripts such as tafsir nusantara and many others. One of them is the object of this research, namely the Book of Wawacan Panganten Tujuh which is a collection from the Prabu Geusan Ulun Sumedang Library. This study aims to analyze the content of hadith contained in the Book of Wawacan Panganten Seven. So researchers try to formulate hadiths in the Book of Wawacan Panganten Seven? And what is the authenticity of the hadith in the Book of Wawacan Panganten Seven? The purpose of this study is to determine the content of hadith, the quality of matan and the understanding of hadith in the Book of Wawacan Panganten Seven. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical approach. To obtain results in accordance with research needs, philological theory and tahqiq hadith are used. Wawacan Panganten Tujuh was written by H. M, Husna and is a language transliteration combined with local literature from Kitab As-Sab'iyat fi Al-mawaidz Al-bariyat which was originally Arabic into Sundanese. From the inventory of redactions carried out, there are at least five indications of hadith content in the Book of Wawacan Panganten seven, two of which are not in accordance with any matan redaction. In total there are nineteen hadiths collected. With three hadiths of La Ashlaha, three hadiths of Saheeh, seven Hasan, two dha'if, and four maudhu'. Thus the author of Kitab Wawacan Panganten Tujuh contains the content of hadith in his work.
