Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya pengimplementasian media pembelajaran pada materi keanekaragaman hayati yang berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh media wordwall terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Metode dalam penelitian ini digunakan quasi experimental dengan jenis desain non- equivalent control group menerapkan dua kelas X IPA 2 dan X IPA 3 dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 72 siswa. Instrumen ysng digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 25 soal. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Data hasil belajar berupa nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen yaitu 44 dan posttest 86, sedangkan nilai pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 40 dan posttest 76. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa yakni mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,76 dan kelas kontrol 0,62. Uji hipotesis diperoleh 0,011 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan media wordwall berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. This research was motivated by the lack of implementation of learning media on biodiversity material which had an impact on low student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of wordwall media on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes on biodiversity material. The method used in this research was quasi experimental with a non-equivalent control group design using two classes X IPA 2 and X IPA 3 with research subjects of 72 students. The instrument used is 25 multiple choice questions. Data analysis used SPSS version 26. Learning outcome data consisted of the average pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class, namely 44 and posttest 86, while the pretest and posttest scores for the control class were 40 and posttest 76. Students' cognitive learning outcomes increased with the average score N-Gain for the experimental class is 0.76 and the control class is 0.62. Hypothesis testing obtained 0.011 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that wordwall media has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes in biodiversity material.
