Abstract
INDONESIA: Tanaman lada (Piper nigrum L.) merupakan komoditas unggulan dengan nilai ekonomis tinggi. Umumnya tanaman lada diperbanyak secara vegetative dengan cara setek. Perbanyakan dengan teknik setek memiliki kelamahan yaitu sulitnya tumbuh akar pada tanaman setek. Penambahan zat pengatur tumbuh dan pupuk NPK dapat mendorong pertumbuhan akar dan pertumbuhan tanaman lada perdu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui adanya pengaruh perlakuan dan kombinasi konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah (EBM) dengan dosis pupuk NPK (16:16:16) yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan setek tanaman lada perdu. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak_kelompok non faktorial dengan dua faktor, konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah dan dosis pupuk NPK (16:16:16) dengan tiga kali ulangan. terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan yaitu (Ekstrak Bawang Merah) EBM 0 ml L-1 air + NPK 0 g tanaman-1 (kontrol), EBM 0 ml L-1 + NPK 0,5 g tanaman-1, EBM ml L-1 + NPK 1 g tanaman-1, EBM ml L-1 + NPK 0 g tana-man-1, EBM 25 ml L-1 + NPK 0,5 g tanaman-1, EBM ml L-1 + NPK 1 g tanaman-1, EBM 50 ml L-1 + NPK 0 g tanaman-1, EBM 50 ml L-1 + NPK 0,5 g tanaman-1, EBM 50 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g tanaman-1, EBM 75 ml L-1 + NPK 0 g tanaman-1, EBM 75 ml L-1 + NPK 0,5 g tanaman-1, dan EBM 75 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g tanaman-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan kombinasi EBM 75 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g tanaman-1 memberikan hasil terbaik pada setiap pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan terdapat pengaruh perlakuan EBM dan pupuk NPK dengan konsentrasi EBM 75 ml L-1 dan NPK 1 g tanaman-1 yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman lada perdu. ENGLISH: Pepper plants (Piper nigrum L.) are a commodity with high economic val-ue. Pepper plants are propagated vegetatively by cuttings. Propagation by cuttings has a weakness that it is difficult to grow roots on cuttings. The addition of growth regulators and NPK fertilizer can encourage root growth and shrub pepper plant growth. The research is aim to determine the effect of treatment and combi-nation of shallot extract concentration Onion Extract with a dose of NPK fertilizer (16:16:16) which can increase the growth of bush pepper plant cuttings. This re-search used a non-factorial randomized block design with two factors, shallot ex-tract concentration and NPK fertilizer dose (16:16:16) with three replications. There were 12 treatment combinations, Onion Extract 0 ml l-1 water + NPK 0 g plant-1 (control), Onion Extract 0 ml L-1 NPK 0.5 g plant-1, Onion Extract 0 ml l-1 water + NPK 1 g plant-1, Onion Extract 25 ml L-1 + NPK 0 g plant-1, Onion Ex-tract 25 ml L-1 + NPK 0.5 g plant-1, Onion Extract 25 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g plant-1, Onion Extract 50 ml L-1 + NPK 0 g plant-1 , Onion Extract 50 ml L-1 + NPK 0.5 g plant-1, Onion Extract 50 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g plant-1, Onion Extract 75 ml L-1 + NPK 0 g plant-1, Onion Extract 75 ml L-1 + NPK 0.5 g plant-1, Onion Extract 75 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g plant-1. The research results showed that the combination treat-ment of Onion Extract 75 ml L-1 + NPK 1 g plant-1 gave the best results in each observation. The results of the research stated that there was an effect of Onion Extract and NPK fertilizer treatment with an Onion Extract concentration of 75 ml L-1 and NPK 1 g plant-1 which could increase the growth of shrub pepper plants.
