Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara stres akademik dan kecenderungan impulsive buying pada siswa SMA Negeri 22 Bandung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain korelasional dengan sampel sebanyak 207 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur kecenderungan impulsive buying adalah Impulsive buying Tendency Scale (IBTS) yang terdiri dari 20 item, sementara instrumen untuk mengukur stres akademik adalah Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) yang memiliki 16 item. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Uji Korelasi Pearson menggunakan IBM Statistics 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara stres akademik dan kecenderungan belanja impulsif pada siswa SMA Negeri 22 Bandung. ENGLISH : This study aims to examine the relationship between academic stress and impulsive buying tendencies among students of SMAN 22 Bandung. The research utilized a correlational design with a sample of 207 students. The research instruments used to measure impulsive buying tendencies was the Impulsive buying Tendency Scale (IBTS), consisting of 20 items, while the instrument used to measure academic stress was the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) with 16 items. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson Correlation Test with IBM Statistics 20. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between academic stress and impulsive buying tendencies among students of SMAN 22 Bandung.
