It has been proven that using podcast is a successful strategy for improving students' listening comprehension skills. The aim of this research is to find out whether the use of podcasts at SMP Karya Budi improves EFL students' listening comprehension skills. Students have difficulty comprehensing what they hear. As a result, the researcher offered a tactic to overcome their problems in learning English with using podcast. In this study, data was collected quantitative using a pre-experimental design from one group pre-test and post-test using multiple choice and fill in the blanks methods. The aim of this research is to find out how effective students are in listening before and after using podcast media. It also seeks to identify important variations in how students may benefit from English conversation podcast in terms of their listening comprehension. Based on the research results, the pre-test with mean score of 51.83 and the post-test with mean score increased to 71.67 indicating fair overall performance. The results of the t-test calculation demonstrate significant improvement in students' skills following the intervention. The T-test revealed a t-count value of 20.427 , exceeding the t-table value of 2.045. As a result, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, confirming that the English Conversation Podcast significantly enhanced the listening skills of students in the VIII A class at SMP Karya Budi.
