Abstract

INDONESIA: Kontestasi Pemilihan Legislatif tahun 2024 diwarnai dengan hadirnya beberapa partai politik baru, kehadiran partai politik baru dalam kontestasi pemilihan legislatif di Indonesia telah dimulai sejak era reformasi. Salah satu partai baru yang ikut dalam kontestasi pemilihan legislatif 2024 yakni Partai Perindo. Sebagai partai baru, Partai Perindo dihadapkan dengan berbagai macam tantangan selama berlangsungnya proses pelaksanaan pemilihan legislatif, sehingga hal ini menyebabkan kegagalan pada Partai Perindo untuk mendapatkan kursi legislatif khususnya di Kota Bandung. Meskipun ini merupakan keikutsertaan kedua bagi Partai Perindo Kota Bandung di pemilihan legislatif 2024 namun Partai Perindo masih belum mampu untuk memenuhi target dengan mendapatkan kursi legislatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tantangan apa saja yang dihadapi oleh Partai Perindo Kota Bandung dalam pemilihan legislatif tahun 2024 dan sekaligus menggambarkan faktor penyebab kegagalan Partai Perindo Kota Bandung dalam pemilihan legislatif tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Partai Politik menurut Ramlan Surbakti. Dimana keberhasilan partai politik dalam pemilihan legislatif dapat dilihat dari sejauh mana partai politik tersebut mampu menjalankan fungsi sebagai partai politik, sebagai Sosialisasi Politik sebagai Rekrutmen Politik, sebagai Partisipasi Politik, dan sebagai Pemandu Kepentingan. Serta teori analisis SWOT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni melalui studi pustaka, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Partai Perindo Kota Bandung menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam pemilihan legislatif tahun 2024 seperti, kesulitan menggaet figur politik, persaingan ketat antar partai, dan tidak mampu menjalankan fungsi sebagai rekrutmen politik dengan maksimal. Sehingga hal ini menjadi penyebab utama kegagalan Partai Perindo Kota Bandung untuk meraih kursi legislatif di pemilihan legislatif 2024. Partai Perindo Kota Bandung tidak memiliki sosok figur yang mampu mengangkat elektabilitas partai dan menarik simpati masyarakat. ENGALISH: The 2024 Legislative Election contest is marked by the presence of several new political parties, the presence of new political parties in the legislative election contest in Indonesia has started since the reform era. One of the new parties participating in the 2024 legislative election contest is the Perindo Party. As a new party, the Perindo Party is faced with various challenges during the legislative election process, so that this causes the failure of the Perindo Party to get legislative seats, especially in the city of Bandung. Although this is the second participation for the Bandung City Perindo Party in the 2024 legislative election, the Perindo Party is still unable to meet the target by getting legislative seats. This study aims to describe what challenges are faced by the Bandung City Perindo Party in the 2024 legislative election and at the same time describe the factors that cause the failure of the Bandung City Perindo Party in the legislative election. This research uses the theory of Political Parties according to Ramlan Surbakti. Where the success of political parties in legislative elections can be seen from the extent to which the political party is able to carry out its functions as a political party, as Political Socialization as Political Recruitment, as Political Participation, and as a Guide of Interests. As well as SWOT analysis theory. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are through literature studies, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Bandung City Perindo Party faces various challenges in the 2024 legislative election such as difficulties in attracting political figures, fierce competition between parties, and inability to carry out its function as a political recruitment to the maximum. So that this is the main cause of the failure of the Bandung City Perindo Party to win legislative seats in the 2024 legislative election. The Bandung City Perindo Party does not have a figure who is able to raise the party's electability and attract public sympathy.
