Abstract
Pada abad ke-21, kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat pesat menuntut manusia untuk melakukan penyesuaian dalam semua aspek kehidupan, termasuk pada aspek pendidikan. Peserta didik harus memiliki keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang salah satunya adalah keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis model problem based learning dalam meningkatkan berpikir kreatif dan sustainability awareness siswa pada materi pemanasan global. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Pre-Experiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik one group pretest and posttest design only. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MTs Ar-Rosidiyah kelas VII C. Observasi kelas, pretest-posttest, angket sustainability awareness, dan angket respon siswa menjadi landasan pengumpulan data. Data dianlisis dengan SPSS 26, microsoft excel, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis. Pada keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata 97% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada kelas yang diberikan perlakuan diperoleh rata-rata pretest sebesar 15,04 dan posttest sebesar 66,32. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,00. 0,00 < 0,05 mengartikan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model problem based learning. Respon siswa terhadap sustainability awareness memperoleh hasil sebesar 62,5% dengan kategori kuat. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran memperoleh hasil sebesar 78,4% dengan kategori kuat. In the 21st century, the very rapid progress of science and technology requires humans to make adjustments in all aspects of life, including aspects of education. Students must have high-level thinking skills, one of which is creative thinking skills. This research aims to analyze the problem based learning model in increasing students' creative thinking and sustainability awareness on global warming material. The method used is Pre-Experiment with a quantitative approach and one group pretest and posttest design only technique. The research was carried out at MTs Ar-Rosidiyah class VII C. Class observations, pretest-posttest, sustainability awareness questionnaire, and student response questionnaire were the basis for data collection. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26, Microsoft Excel, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The implementation of learning obtained an average of 97% with a very good category. In the class given the treatment, the pretest average was 15.04 and the posttest was 66.32. The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-test obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.00. 0.00 < 0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that there are differences before and after the problem based learning model is applied. Student responses to sustainability awareness obtained results of 62.5% in the strong category. Student responses to learning obtained results of 78.4% in the strong category.
