Abstract

INDONESIA: Tanaman padi merupakan akumulator Si namun di lapangan petani jarang memberikan pemupukan silika, petani cenderung mengutamakan pupuk nitrogen. Padahal tanaman padi membutuhkan unsur silika dengan nitrogen di dalam tanah yang seimbang. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi yang tinggi yaitu melalui adanya rasio pupuk silika dengan pupuk nitrogen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian rasio pupuk silika dengan pupuk nitrogen serta mendapatkan rasio terbaik pemberian pupuk silika dengan pupuk nitrogen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok dengan 6 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu: A = kontrol; B = Si:N (0,8); C = Si:N (1); D = Si:N (1,2,); E = Si:N (1,4); F = Si:N (1,6). Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa rasio (0,8) pemberian pupuk silika dengan pupuk nitrogen mampu memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah anakan 40 HST, 60 HST serta bobot 1000 butir. Maka rasio (0,8) merupakan rasio terbaik. ENGLISH: Rice plants are Si accumulators, but in the field farmers rarely apply silica fertilizer, farmers tend to prioritize nitrogen fertilizer. In fact, rice plants need balanced elements of silica and nitrogen in the soil. Efforts that can be made to obtain high growth and yields of rice plants are through a ratio of silica fertilizer to nitrogen fertilizer. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of giving the ratio of silica fertilizer to nitrogen fertilizer and to get the best ratio of giving silica fertilizer to nitrogen fertilizer. The method used in this research was a randomized block design with 6 treatments and 5 replications, the treatments give were: A = control; B = Si:N (0,8); C = Si:N (1); D = Si:N (1,2); E = (Si:N 1,4); F = (Si:N 1,6). The research results showed that the ratio (0,8) of applying silica fertilizer to nitrogen fertilizer was able to provide the best results for the parameters of number of tillers of 40 DAP, 60 DAP, and weight of 1000 grains. So the ratio (0,8) is the best ratio.
