Abstract

Abstract environmental studies have been carried out dilahan Cimincrang village paddy fields, exactly behind the campus II UIN SGD Bandung. The environmental study aims to identify and measure kemanpuan and productivity of the land. Survey methods and environmental analysis performed by observing the condition of soil and water and vegetation are growing. In Bandung, there are currently a lot of river flows, but the use of the dike area of the settlement is very rarely applied then most likely give rise to the potential for erosion. One of the rivers that no embankment to the region which coincides behind campus Cimincrang II UIN SGD Bandung. The purpose of soil and water conservation is to prevent soil degradation due to erosion and improve the soil - soil that is damaged. Damaged land leads to low productivity of the land. Thus the region becomes poor because they can not produce sufficient food. In addition the state of campus UIN SGD Bandung II is still not perfect because it is still in a period of pembangunan.Kampus II also terasabpanas and barren because trees grow netting. Just as there is land around the campus - cultivated land and railway lines in the south and the river flowing to the west which caused the potential for erosion occurred there. To prevent the impact of the erosion in watersheds Cimincrang then used the conservation of soil and water using mechanical methods.
