Abstract

INDONESIA: Kelapa sawit merupakan tanaman perkebunan yang termasuk kedalam tanaman monokotil yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang baik untuk menghasilkan devisa bagi negara melalui kegiatan ekspor. Kelapa sawit yang mempunyai umur lama untuk berproduksi maka perlu perhatian dan perencanaan yang baik agar hasil maksimal terutama dalam pembibitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh antara dosis pupuk urea dengan komposisi media tanam terhadap pembibitan tanaman kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Pamulihan Kabupaten Sumedang sejak bulan Juni hingga September 2017. Metode yang digunakan merupakan metode eksperimental berupa Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan 2 faktor, faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk urea (kontrol 0 gr tan-1, 15 gr tan-1, dan 30 gr tan-1), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah media tanam (kontrol hanya tanah, tanah dengan pasir 1:1, tanah dengan pupuk kandang 1:1 dan tanah dengan pasir dan pupuk kandang 1:1:1), terdiri dari 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang 4 kali. Pengujian lanjut dilakukan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak terjadi interaksi antara dosis pupuk urea dan komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit. Secara mandiri dosis pupuk 30 gr tan-1 berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dan nisbah pupus akar (NPA). Sedangkan media tanam m0 berpengaruh pada diameter batang. ENGLISH: Palm oil was a plantation plant belonging to monocot plant that has good economic value to generate foreign exchange for the country through export activities. Oil palm that has a long life to produce needs attention and good planning for maximum results, especially in the nursery. This study aims to study the effect of urea fertilizer dosage with the composition of planting media to palm oil planting. This research was conducted in Pamulihan Sumedang Regency from June to September 2017. The method used was experimental method of Randomized Complete Design (RAL) factorial with 2 factors, first factor was dose of urea fertilizer (control 0 gr/plant, 15 gr/plant, and 30 gr/plant),while the second factor is planting medium (control, 1: 1 sand soil, 1: 1 manure soil and 1: 1: 1 soil, manure and sand) consisting of 12 treatment combinations repeated 4 times. Further testing was performed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed no interaction between dose of urea fertilizer with the composition of planting media to palm oil planting. Self-fertilizer dosage of urea 30 gr/plant has an effect on plant height and nisbah root ratio (NPA). While planting media m0 has an effect on stem diameter.
