Abstract

The lack of student interest in participating in vocabulary learning has become a problem at Miftahut Taufiq Islamic Boarding School, Cibiru, Bandung. The presumed cause is the limited use of media in the vocabulary learning process. The utilization of media in education has been proven to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Optimizing media in vocabulary learning is expected to help increase students' interest in the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to assess students' interest before using Word Classification Card Media at Miftahut Taufiq Islamic Boarding School, Cibiru, Bandung, and to determine students' interest after using Word Classification Card Media, along with the level of improvement achieved.
