Abstract
INDONESIA : Perkembangan era digital yang terjadi saat ini memaksa media konvensional seperti radio, surat kabar, majalah maupun televisi untuk selalu menyesuaikan diri dengan kemajuan teknologi komunikasi agar dapat bersaing di tengah persaingan di industri media yang semakin sengit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses konvergensi media dalam pengelolaan manajemen Radio Cakra 90.5 FM yang dilakukan oleh setiapelemen yang ada di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan Konsep Konvergensi Media Henry Jenkins. Subjek penelitian ini terletak pada beberapa pihak yang relevan dan kompeten di bidangnya. Mulai dari penyiar, supervisor program, hingga program manager yang memiliki kompetensi di bidang masing – masing serta berperan aktif dalam mengelola radio Cakra. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi non partisipan dan wawancara mendalam terhadap program manager radio disertai wawancara tambahan dengan Penyiar dan Supervisor program Radio Cakra 90.5 FM. Data lain pun diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan, dokumentasi, dan internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan konvergensi media pada setiap program yang dibawakan tak lepas dari perkembangan teknologi digital seperti penggunaan media sosial. Sehingga bisa menggunakan siaran langsung (live) di berbagai media sosial. Di mana Radio Cakra menyebarkan siaran programnya bukan hanya secara on-air di radio saja namun dengan mengaitkannya dengan media sosial yang ada. Dengan memanfaatkan Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok maupun Youtube berbagai program yang memiliki ciri khas dan menonjolkan identitas radio Cakra 90.5 FM dibagikan di beberapa channel tersebut. Selain itu setiap program di Radio Cakra juga bisa diakses melalui website www.radiocakrabandung.com. Selain dari segi program akan diteliti juga berbagai aspek yang mempengaruhi manajemen media Radio Cakra 90.5 FM. Mulai dari sumber daya manusia, teknologi bahkan sampai ke tahap pengawasan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan. Sehingga akan diperoleh cara agar dapat tetap bertahan di era digital saat ini. ENGLISH ; The current development of the digital era forces conventional media such as radio, newspapers, magazines or television to always adapt to advances in communication technology in order to compete amidst increasingly fierce competition in the media industry. This research aims to find out how the media convergence process in the management of Radio Cakra 90.5 FM is carried out by each element in it. This research uses a qualitative approach and Henry Jenkins' Media Convergence Concept. The subject of this research lies with several parties who are relevant and competent in their field. Starting from announcers, program supervisors, to program managers who have competence in their respective fields and play an active role in managing Cakra radio. Data collection was obtained through nonparticipant observation and in-depth interviews with radio program managers accompanied by additional interviews with Broadcasters and Program Supervisors for Radio Cakra 90.5 FM. Other data was also obtained through literature studies, documentation and the internet. The research results show that media convergence in each program presented cannot be separated from developments in digital technology such as the use of social media. So you can use live broadcasts on various social media. Radio Cakra broadcasts its programs not only on-air but also by linking them to social media platforms.. By utilizing Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, various programs that have distinctive characteristics and highlight the identity of Cakra 90.5 FM radio are distributed on several of these channels. Apart from that, every program on Radio Cakra can also be accessed via the website www.radiocakrabandung.com. Apart from the program aspect, various aspects that influence the media management of Radio Cakra 90.5 FM will also be researched. Starting from human resources, technology and even to the monitoring and evaluation stages carried out. This research aims to understand how Radio Cakra survives in the digital era.
