Abstract

INDONESIA : Belajar merupakan proses penting untuk meraih suatu keberhasilan, sehingga saat seseorang belajar diusahakan dapat memberikan kemudahan baginya untuk memahami pelajaran. Aktivitas pembelajaran sering terjadi ketika seseorang menjadi siswa sehingga terdapat guru yang dapat memberikan bimbingan dalam proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan disekolah diantaranya adalah metode pembelajaran presentasi, metode ini dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih bagi siswa. Secara tidak langsung siswa diharapkan mampu berbicara di depan kelas dengan baik, mudah dipahami dan dapat menjelaskan sejauhmana siswa memahami materi yang hendak disampaikan. Masalah yang terjadi adalah ketika siswa merasa ragu akan kemampuannya untuk tampil berbicara di depan kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kecemasan presentasi di depan kelas pada siswa SMPN 17 Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi dengan analisis regresi sederhana. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 200 responden siswa kelas IX SMPN 17 Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat nilai yang signifikansi sehingga diketahui bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh terhadap kecemasan presentasi di depan kelas, dengan koefisien regresi yang menunjukkan hubungan negatif. ENGLISH: Learning is an important process to achieve success, so that when someone learns, it is attempted to provide ease in understanding the lesson. Learning activities often occur when someone becomes a student so that there are teachers who can provide guidance in the learning process. One of the learning methods carried out in schools is the presentation learning method, this method can provide more understanding for students. Indirectly, students are expected to be able to speak in front of the class well, easily understood and can explain the extent to which students understand the material to be conveyed. The problem that occurs is when students feel doubtful about their ability to appear to speak in front of the class. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on anxiety about presentations in front of the class in students of SMPN 17 Bandung City. This study used the correlation method with simple regression analysis. The number of respondents in this study was 200 respondents of grade IX students of SMPN 17 Bandung City. The results of the research show that there is a significant value so that it is known that self-efficacy has an effect on presentation anxiety in front of the class, with a regression coefficient that shows a negative relationship.
