Abstract
School Misconduct adalah perilaku siswa yang melanggar aturan dan regulasi sekolah, yang dapat mengganggu lingkungan belajar. Meskipun seringkali dianggap sepele, pelanggaran aturan sekolah dapat menjadi masalah besar di kemudian hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Parent-Adolescent Communication serta Peer Conformity terhadap School Misconduct di kalangan siswa SMP. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan desain kausalitas dengan sampel sebanyak 290 siswa kelas VII hingga IX. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai F= 47.383 dan signifikansi 0.000 dengan demikian Parent-Adolescent Communication dan Peer Conformity mempengaruhi School Misconduct sebesar 24,8%. Dari pengujian secara parsial didapatkan bahwa Parent-Adolescent Communication memberikan pengaruh lebih besar terhadap School Misconduct sedangkan Peer Conformity hanya berkontribusi sedikit sehingga tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlunya Parent-Adolescent Communication untuk meminimalisir terjadinya School Misconduct pada siswa.
