Abstract

Digital literacy skill is a crucial aspect of the technological era. This research aims to explore the perspectives of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students in creating digital learning websites in the Digital Literacies for Language Teachers Course. (DLLTC). The research results show that students have a positive perception and contribution towards the use of digital literacy in learning, with technical skills and creativity as the main supporting factors. The study uses qualitative case studies because of detail to explore EFL student perspectives in creating a digital learning web about digital literacy for language teacher courses. The participants in this research were fourth-semester students from the English Language Education Department and were involved in the course. Purposive sampling methods were employed in the selection of participants. This study employs questionnaires to provide EFL learners‘ perspectives, interviews to identify the contributions as perceived by EFL learners, and documentation to validate the participants‘ stories. This study results the substantial contribution of digital learning web creation as perceived by EFL students. This experience not only enhances student engagement and accessibility but also equips future language teachers with essential digital skills. By making learning more interactive and accessible, students can actively participate and access materials flexibly, anytime and anywhere. It is recommended that students continue to develop their digital skills, particularly in creating digital learning websites.
