Abstract

INDONESIA: Metode pembelajaran ceramah masih sangat mendominasi pembelajaran yang ada saat ini, termasuk di MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi. Hal ini tentu berdampak terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar setiap siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka penelitian ini menawarkan solusi dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran lain yaitu model Snowball Throwing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan: 1) Penggunaan Metode Pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada mata pelajaran SKI di MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi; 2) Aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada mata Pelajaran SKI materi Dinasti Abbasiyah; 3) Hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing; 4) pengaruh penggunaan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran SKI materi Dinasti Abbasiyah. Teori yang menjadi landasan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori konstruktivisme, dimana pengetahuan dibangun secara aktif oleh peserta didik melalui pengalaman dan interaksi sosial. Dalam konteks Snowball Throwing ini, siswa dilibatkan secara langsung dalam proses pembelajaran melalui diskusi kelompok, pertukaran informasi, dan penyampaian ide secara bergiliran, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aktif dan kolaboratif. Metode pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, angket kuesioner, soal tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu merumuskan hipotesis, menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test, uji wilcoxon serta uji n-gain score. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas VIII MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi sebanyak 38 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Penerapan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing di MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi sudah tepat karena sesuai dengan langkah-langkah metode pembelajarannya; 2) Terdapat perubahan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Hasil perolehan sebelum penggunaan Snowball Throwing yaitu (36,63) dan sesudahnya yaitu (37,65); 3) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan metode. Hasil analisis soal tes dengan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan rata-rata skor pre test meningkat dari 51 menjadi 70; 4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dimana 0,00 (p-value) < 0,05) dari penggunaan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. ENGLISH: The lecture method of teaching still dominates the current learning process, including at MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi.This certainly affects the activities and learning outcomes of each student.Based on these issues, this research offers a solution by using another teaching method, namely the Snowball Throwing model. This study aims to explain:1) The use of the Snowball Throwing learning method in the SKI subject at MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi; 2) Student learning activities using the Snowball Throwing learning method in the SKI subject on the Abbasid Dynasty material; 3) Student learning outcomes before and after using the Snowball Throwing learning method; 4) The effect of using the Snowball Throwing method on student activity and learning outcomes in the SKI subject on the Abbasid Dynasty material. The theory that underpins this research is constructivism, where knowledge is actively built by learners through experience and social interaction.In the context of Snowball Throwing, students are directly involved in the learning process through group discussions, information exchange, and the sequential presentation of ideas, thereby creating an active and collaborative learning environment. The data collection methods are interviews, questionnaires, test questions, observations, and documentation.The data analysis conducted includes formulating hypotheses, using validity and reliability tests, normality tests, paired sample t-tests, Wilcoxon tests, and n-gain score tests.The subjects of the research were 38 eighth-grade students from MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi. The results of this study are:1) The implementation of the Snowball Throwing learning method at MTs Al Jawami Cileunyi is appropriate because it follows the steps of the learning method;2) There is a change in student learning activities using the Snowball Throwing learning method.The results before the use of the Snowball Throwing method were (36.63) and after its use were (37.65); 3) There is a difference in student learning outcomes before and after the use of the method.The results of the test question analysis using the paired sample t-test showed that the average pre-test score increased from 51 to 70; 4) There is a significant effect where 0.00 (p-value) < 0.05) from the use of the Snowball Throwing learning method on student activity and learning outcomes. ARABIC: لا تزال طريقة التعلم بالمحاضرات تهيمن بشكل كبير على التعليم الحالي، بما في ذلك في مدرسة تسنوية الجوامع في تشيلوني.هذا بالطبع يؤثر على نشاط ونتائج تعلم كل طالب.بناءً على هذه المشكلة، تقدم هذه الدراسة حلاً باستخدام طريقة تعليمية أخرى وهي نموذج رمي الكرة الثلجية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى توضيح: 1) استخدام طريقة التعلم برمي كرة الثلج في مادة SKI في مدرسة تسنوية الجوامع في تشيلوني ؛ 2) نشاط تعلم الطلاب باستخدام طريقة التعلم برمي كرة الثلج في مادة SKI حول موضوع الدولة العباسية؛ 3) نتائج تعلم الطلاب قبل وبعد استخدام طريقة التعلم برمي كرة الثلج؛ 4) تأثير استخدام طريقة رمي كرة الثلج على نشاط ونتائج تعلم الطلاب في مادة SKI حول موضوع الدولة العباسية. النظرية التي تشكل أساس هذا البحث هي نظرية البناء المعرفي، حيث يتم بناء المعرفة بشكل نشط من قبل المتعلمين من خلال التجارب والتفاعلات الاجتماعية.في سياق رمي كرة الثلج هذا، يتم إشراك الطلاب بشكل مباشر في عملية التعلم من خلال المناقشات الجماعية، وتبادل المعلومات، وتقديم الأفكار بالتناوب، مما يخلق بيئة تعليمية نشطة وتعاونية. طريقة جمع البيانات هي المقابلات، الاستبيانات، أسئلة الاختبارات، الملاحظة والتوثيق.تحليل البيانات الذي تم إجراؤه يتضمن صياغة الفرضيات، واستخدام اختبار الصلاحية والموثوقية، واختبار التوزيع الطبيعي، واختبار t-test للعينات المزدوجة، واختبار ويلكوكسون، وكذلك اختبار n-gain score.موضوع البحث هو طلاب الصف الثامن في مدرسة تسنوية الجامع الإسلامية في تشيلوني، وعددهم 38 طالبًا. نتائج هذا البحث هي: 1) تطبيق طريقة التعلم بإلقاء كرة الثلج في مدرسة تسنوية الجوامع في تشيلوني كان مناسبًا لأنه يتماشى مع خطوات طريقة التعلم؛٢) هناك تغيير في نشاطات تعلم الطلاب باستخدام طريقة التعلم برمي كرة الثلج.نتيجة التحصيل قبل استخدام طريقة رمي الكرة الثلجية كانت (36.63) وبعدها كانت (37.65)؛ 3) هناك فرق في نتائج تعلم الطلاب قبل وبعد استخدام الطريقة.أظهرت نتائج تحليل أسئلة الاختبار باستخدام اختبار t لعينة متزاوجة أن متوسط درجات الاختبار القبلي ارتفع من 51 إلى 70؛٤) هناك تأثير كبير حيث 0,00 (قيمة p) < 0,05) من استخدام طريقة التعلم برمي كرة الثلج على نشاط ونتائج تعلم الطلاب
