Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh pentingnya lembaga pendidikan memiliki sarana dan prasarana salah satu diantaranya ruang perpustakaan dan buku atau sumber belajar. Karena Perpustakaan adalah salah satu fasilitas yang menunjang sistem pembelajaran disekolah. Begitupun Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung yang memiliki ruang perpustakaan dan buku atau sumber belajar yang cukup memadat. Di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung menggunakan dua sistem manajemen yaitu 2 sistem IT (otomasi) dan manual dalam pengelolaannya. Hal tersebut membawa penulis untuk menelaah lebih dalam lagi terkait sistem informasi manajemen yang di gunakan di perpustakaan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah, Bagaimana kebijakan, profil perpustakaan, prosedur penggunaan Sistem Informasi Manajemen, faktor penunjang dan penghambat penggunaan sistem informasi manajemen di perpustakaan Mandrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebijakan sistem informasi manajemen, untuk mengetahui profil perpustakaan, untuk mengetahui prosedur pengunaan Sistem Informasi Manajemen di perpustakaan, untuk mengetahui faktor penunjang dan penghambat penggunaan sistem informasi manajemen di perpustakaan Mandrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung Manajemen sistem informasi perpustakaan madrasah merupakan sebuah pengelolaan perpustakaan dengan memanfaatkan sistem automasi berupa software yang sengaja dirancang untuk memudahkan pengelolaan perpustakaan di madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi/menyalin dokumen. Sumber data berasal dari petugas perpustakaan yang setiap hari bertanggungjawab dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan termsuk sistem informasi perpustakaan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung mengambil langkah yang selangkah lebih maju dari tahun-tahun sebelumya yaitu dengan menetapkan kebijakan berupa, Merubah cara pengelolaan perpustakaan yang sebelumnya manual dengan sistem automasi perpustakaan yang pada saat penelitian di lakukan bertepatan sedang berlangsungnya proses penyesuaian dengan kebijakan baru ini, Memilih aplikasi berbasis web yang bernama SIIMS sebagai software automasi perpustakaan yang di dapat secara gratis, Menambah jumlah komputer untuk keperluan administrasi dan penerapan sistem informasi manejemen di perpustakaan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung iv ENGLISH: This research is based on the background institutions having facilities and infrastructre, one of which ts library space and of the importance of educational books or learning resources. Because the Library ts one of the facilities that support the school learning system. Likewise Madrasah Aliyah Negert 2 Bandung has a library and books or learning resources that are quite adequate. In Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung uses two management systems, namely the IT system (automation) and the manual in its management. This brings the author to examine more deeply related to management information systems used in the library of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung. The formulation of the problem of this research is, How are policies, library profiles, procedures for using Management Information Systems, supporting and inhibiting factors for the use of management information systems in the library of Mandrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung. So the purpose of this research is to find out the management information system policy, to find out the profile of the library, to find out the procedure for using the Management Information System in the library, lo Jind out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the managementinformation system in the Bandung Mandrasah Aliyah 2 library. The management of the madrasa library information system is a library management by utilizing an automation system in the form of software that intentionally designed to facilitate the management of libraries in madrasas. IS This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interview and documentation copying documents. Sources of data come from library oficers who are responsible every day in managing the library including library information systems at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung. From the results of the study showed that Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung took a step ahead of ils previous years, namely by setting policies in the form, Changing the way library management was previously manual with the library aulomation system, which at the time of the adjustment process was being carried out with this new policy, Choosing a web-based application called SliMS as a library automation software that obtained free of charge, increasing the number of computers for administrative purposes and implementing management information systems in the library of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bandung
