Abstract
Stigma orang tua dilingkungan masyarakat bahwa siswa SMK tidak sanggup untuk berkuliah namun dipersiapkan untuk langsung bekerja, karena hal itu peneliti ingin mengetahui tentang keyakinan diri dari mahasiswa yang memang berlatar belakang lulusan SMK dan memiliki jurusan yang tidak runtut dengan jurusan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Self-Efficacy terhadap College Adjustment dan Prestasi Mahasiswa UIN Bandung. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 272 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik snowball sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhada dan regresi ordinal dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Self-Efficacy terhadap College Adjustment sebesar (R Square 0,345) 34.5% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang lain, dan juga terdapat pengaruh antara Self-Efficacy terhadap Prestasi Mahasiswa sebesar (Pseudo R-Square 0,770) 77% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang lain.
