Abstract

INDONESIA Abu gosok memiliki kadar silika mencapai 80,25% yang sangat berpotensi digunakan sebagai sumber silika untuk sintesis zeolit. Pada penelitian ini abu gosok langsung dicampurkan sebagai bahan sintesis. Optimasi sintesis dilakukan dengan variasi 1) 18 jam aging dengan 30 jam inkubasi, 2) 36 jam aging dengan 24 jam inkubasi dan 3) 18 jam aging dengan 24 jam inkubasi. Sintesis Zeolit FAU menggunakan metode non-hidrotermal pada suhu 90℃. Hasil analisa XRD menunjukkan ketiga variasi sintesis terbentuk zeolit FAU, namun 1) 24 jam aging dengan 30 jam inkubasi dan 2) 36 jam aging dengan 24 jam inkubasi menunjukan kristalinitas yang lebih baik. Hasil analisis SEM diperoleh morfologi permukan seperti kubus yang menumpuk dengan ukuran partikel sekitar 1-1,6 µm. ENGLISH Rice husk ash has silica content approximately 85,25% that was quite potential to be used as silica source for zeolite synthesis. In the research rice husk ash direct used as material synthesis. Optimation synthesis in variation 1) 18 hours aging with 30 hours incubation , 2) 36 hours aging with 24 hours incubation dan 3) 18 hours aging with 24 hours incubation. Synthesis of FAU zeolite by non-hidrothermal method at temperature of 90 ℃. The result of XRD showed third variation formed zeolite FAU, however 1) 24 hours aging with 30 hours incubation and 2) 36 hours aging with 24 hours incubation indicate optimum crystal. Result of the analysis by SEM of FAU zeolite showed surface accidance as sixangel pile up with different size about 1-1,6 μm.
