Abstract

ENGLISH : Indonesian communities may not realize that the words they uses are derived from English. So that, this research will investigates the changes of integration that found in tweets that written by Indonesian politicians. The researcher also will analyze the factors that caused the words are being integrated into Indonesian language. The researcher used the theory of the integration process from Abdul Chaer (2011), the theory of the guideline for the terms formation Disdikbud (1993), and the theory of Indonesian guiding names and foreign terms Kemendikbud (1995), Loan words in Indonesian and Malay by Russel Jones (2007), as the theoretical basis for solving the problems above. In addition, the method used in this research is qualitative approach. The researcher took five of Indonesian Politician accounts as the sample of study. The results of research showed that there were three changes of integration word, those are; visual integration process, direct translation process, and concept integration process. There are 63 data categorized as visual integration process, 9 data categorized as direct translation integration process, and 3 data categorized as concept translation integration process. Besides, there are 60 of integrated words in Indonesian which are caused by factors of bilingualism and borrowing words. Meanwhile, 15 integrated words are caused by factors of development the science and technology. So that, based on the data written above, the researcher conclude that some of Indonesian words are derived from English as the words that have been integrated to Indonesian language. INDONESIA : Masyarakat Indonesia mungkin tidak menyadari bahwa bahasa yang mereka gunakan merupakan bahasa yang berasal dari Bahasa Inggris. Dengan begitu, maka penelitian ini akan menginvestigasi proses perubahan integrasi bahasa yang terdapat di cuitan twiter yang ditulis oleh politisi Indonesia. Peneliti juga akan meneliti factor-faktor yang menyebabkan kata terintegrasi ke bahasa Indonesia. Peneliti menggunakan teori proses integrasi Abdul Chaer (2011), teori Pedoman pembentukan Istilah Disdikbud (1993), dan teori pedoman pengindonesiaan nama dan istilah asing Kemendikbud (1995) sebagai landasan untuk menjawab pertanyaan diatas. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Peneliti mengumpulkan lima akun milik politisi Indonesia sebagai sumber penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat tiga proses integrasi yang ditemukan di penelitian ini yaitu, visual integrasi, proses direct translation, dan proses concept translation. 63 data yang dikategorikan sebagai visual integration process, 9 data yang dikategorikan sebagai direct translation integration process, dan 3 data yang dikategorikan sebagai concept integration process. Disamping itu, terdapat 60 kata yang terintegrasi di Bahasa Indonesia yang disebabkan oleh factor bilingualism dan borrowoing words. Sementara itu, 15 kata yang terintegrasi disebabkan oleh factor perkembangan science dan technology. Dengan begitu, sesuai dengan data yang tertulis diatas maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa beberapa pembendaharaan kata yang terdapat di bahasa Indonesia berasal dari bahasa inggris sebagai kata yang terintegrasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia.
