Abstract
INDONESIA: Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa adalah menggunakan media pembelajaran diantaranya media pembelajaran Math Book dan Smash Book. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Math Book, Smash Book dan konvensional, (2) perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Math Book, Smash Book dan konvensional, dan (3) kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Math Book dan Smash Book. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kuasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, kelas VIII A menggunakan media pembelajaran Math Book, VIII B menggunakan media pembelajaran Smash Book dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan lembar skala sikap kemandirian belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Math Book, Smash Book dan konvensional, (2) terdapat perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Math Book, Smash Book dan konvensional, dan (3) kemandirian belajar siswa positif terhadap media pembelajaran Math Book dan Smash Book. ENGLISH: One effort to improve mathematical connection skills and regulated learning student is using learning media Math Book and Smash Book. The purpose of this study is to know: (1) differences in the improvement of mathematical connection skills of students between those who use learning media Math Book, Smash Book and conventional, (2) difference in achievement mathematical connection skills of students between those who use learning media Math Book, Smash Book and conventional and (3) Regulated learning students towards learning media Math Book and Smash Book. The method used is Quasi Experiment with research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study is 8th grades by sampling using techniques Purposive Sampling. Class 8A using learning media Math Book, Class 8B using learning media Smah Book, Class 8E as a control class. The instrument used is a mathematical connection ability test and attitude scale sheet regulated learning students. The results of the study are as follows: (1) there is a difference in improvement students' mathematical connection skills between those who use learning media Math Book, Smash Book and conventional. (2) there are differences in achievement students' mathematical connection skills between those who use learning media Math Book, Smash Book and conventional and (3) positive student learning independence on the learning media of Math Book and Smash Book.
