Abstract

One of evaluation forms in learning is through testing or exercising. Generally, it is in written form which takes times to assess. Sometimes, it is not enough time to evaluate the students’ work so that the feedback to students’ daily work cannot be given on time. Such condition becomes a barrier in teaching learning process for the teachers to assess students’ evaluation promptly. One of the solutions is by designing online test through Google Form. This research aims at assisting MTs teachers to design online test effectively through Google Form. The participants were MTsN 1 Garut who required more practical alternative evaluation way for their students. The training was in the form of workshop by explaining how to create exercise through Google Form with handout. Next, tutoring was carried out by monitoring the result of online text through Google Form that had been done by the teachers of MTsN 1 Garut. Finally, the result showed that 60% of the participants can design online test through Google Form. Also, their responses show that Google form can be utilized as a practical, efficient, and effective assessment tool alternative.
