From the findings of data analysis, the result of this research can be concluded that assertive speech acts can be used to make a statement in order to answer the questions from the interviewer. This could help people to understand the speaker’s intention. It could also help to avoid misunderstanding because of the misinterpretation that happened during the conversation. Hence, to state some facts in the interview assertive speech acts were mostly used in the form of direct speech to deliver the utterance directly.
