Abstract
In essence, economic problems stem from an imbalance between human needs. This problem is known as the underlying economic problem. Thus, the proper implementation of a cooperative proper lending system is a way to achieve the business that helps the people's economy. In the election to the alternative system of lending feasibility of the cooperative is needed a decision support method that can assist the selection process in accordance with predetermined criteria. In this study the authors compare two methods namely Profile Matching and Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) in determining PEKKA cooperative members deserve to receive loans in PEKKA cooperatives in banjar urban village. Comparison is intended to obtain maximum results in determining which members are eligible to receive loans, where Profile Matching method is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives whereas MCDM method is a method of determining the order or priority in multicriteria analysis. Based on the test and the result of the comparison research of both methods in a decision support system application, then obtained a conclusion that Profile Matching method has 100% match with real data of PEKKA cooperative, compared with MCDM which from the test result only has 94% match with real data of receiver borrowing.
