Character is a real object in a literary work. They live and have a life like human. Fictional characters have names and a series of experiences. Fictional characters also display several characterizations and attitudes related to psychic and psychological experiences as in real life. One of them has to do with personality. In this case, a problem that attacks the personality of a fictional character is antisocial personality disorder. Researchers stated two problems related to antisocial personality disorder in fictional characters. 1) What are the characteristics of antisocial personality disorders experienced by Amy in Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl? 2) What are the factors of Amy experienced antisocial personality disorder in Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl? This study uses character theory by Abrams, characterization by Edward Jones, personality theory by Sigmund Freud, and antisocial personality disorder theory by the American Psychiatric Association. From the analysis, it can be concluded that seven characteristics of antisocial personality disorder, namely failure to conform social norms, deceitfulness, impulsivity, reckless disregard for safety of self or other, irresponsibility consistent, and lack of remorse, have all been experienced by the fictional character as well as the main character of the novel, Amy Dunne. And, the types of the factor that exist in this case is peers including environment in it. Amy’s peers are her parents, her husband, her high school boyfriend, and her best friend in high school.
