Abstract

The national land agency regional office is an institution that oversees the the land of all provinces. The institution is able to interact and disseminate information to the public with the wide public relations of BPN West Java Regional Office continues to make efforts to manage Instagram social media well to provide better and effective information to the public. The management of social media through Instagram by sharing content about land and activities in the West Java Regional Office. Dissemination of content created for the actual and accountable dissemination of information that the public needs. This study aims to describe the management of instagram social media through the concept the circular model of SoMe for social communication of BPN West Java Regional Office, with stages of sharing optimize, manage and engage in an effort to insrease interaction and dissemination of information to the public through social media instagram @kanwilbpnjabar. This study uses of the circular Model of SoMe for Social Communication dari Regina Luttrell since 2015 with paradigms Kotruktivisme, and qualitative approach, descriptive research methods and data collection techniques through in-dept interviews, passive pivatory observation and documentation. The result showed that the management of instagram social media carried out by the public relations of BPN kanwil West Java went through the stages: 1) the stages of sharing information in order to increase public participation by determining social media from the most active user data, making connections with the public, and building public trust throught shared content such as sharing actual informations through content feeds or videos, reviewing published content and evaluating content so that the content is more actual and reliable. 2) optimize the instagram content to maximize its informational contentt through video views (reels) so that the informations obtained by the public as a whole and the content posted provides effectiveness or is right on target, 3) manage monitoring the spread of content on media, providing quick responses and utilizing the reels feature on Instagram, 4) engage, knowing the existence of the audience and holding activities with the public.
