Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kepentingan inovasi model pembelajaran yang cocok diterapkan pada pembelajaran kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas peserta didik dan menganalisis peningkatan literasi lingkungan setelah penerapan pembelajaran dengan model problem based flipped classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-experimental design dengan tipe one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 3 MAN Purwakarta berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskripsi pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas, perangkat tes literasi lingkungan berupa soal tes dan angket, serta rubrik penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas peserta didik keseluruhan mencapai 95% dengan interpretasi sangat baik. Literasi lingkungan peserta didik pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan kognitif, dan tindakan mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai N-Gain 0,64 dan interpretasi sedang. Aspek sikap mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80 dengan persentase sikap peserta didik yang menyatakan setuju sebesar 79% dan termasuk kategori cukup baik. Secara keseluruhan, aktivitas dan literasi lingkungan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model problem based flipped classroom pada materi penanggulangan limbah plastik. A research has been conducted to improve students' environmental literacy on the problem of plastic waste issues through the implementation of problem-based flipped classroom. The research was conducted on 32 students by using one group pretest-posttest design. The research data were collected through observation sheet, student performance assessment rubric, and environmental literacy assessment tool. The results showed that the overall activity of the students reached 95% with a very good interpretation. Students' environmental literacy in the aspects of knowledge, cognitive skills, and actions has increased with an N-Gain value of 0.64 and a medium interpretation. The attitude aspect got an average score of 80 with the percentage of students' attitudes agreeing at 79% and belonging to the fairly good category. Overall, students' environmental literacy has increased after applying the problem-based flipped classroom model to plastic waste issues.
