Abstract
English is one of the most important aspects of learning. Writing is one of the four basic abilities that must be possessed by students. Writing is the ability to organize words into sentences and paragraphs. According to Pranoto (2004) writing means putting thoughts into writing or telling something to others through writing. Writing can also be interpreted as an expression or expression of feelings that is expressed in writing. In other words, through the writing process we can communicate indirectly either through writing or reading, as well as symbols in the form of images. The research has formulated the problem, especially, in learning and teaching English language at Yasri vocational high school in Bandung as How is the implementation of using wordless picture media in teaching learning process and How are the students response when using wordless picture media. This research is qualitative research with a case study as the method of research. The data has been collected by an observation, interview, and the documentation analyze of students’ writing simple test. The result has a good interview result even any different response by the participant. But the fact the participants able to write a short descriptive text in less than twenty minutes even the students be able to write a short descriptive text, they still have to learn more to be a good writer in the future.
