Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan studi pendahuluan dengan hasilnya bahwa, kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik masih perlu ditingkatkan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkannya adalah menerapkan model pembelajaran eksploratif berbantuan sparkol videoscribe. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental, dan desain penelitiannya adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran eksploratif berbantuan sparkol videoscribe dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran eksploratif berbantuan sparkol videoscribe. penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Daarul Qur’an kelas VIII A dan VIII B pada materi Lingkaran. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran eksploratif berbantuan sparkol videoscribe dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap model pembelajaran eksploratif berbantuan sparkol videoscribe. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran eksploratif berbantuan sparkol videoscribe efektif dalam meningkatkan kemamuan komunikasi matematis siswa. This research was conducted based on a preliminary study with the result that students' mathematical communication abilities still needed to be improved. One way to improve this is to apply an exploratory learning model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe. The research method used is Quasi Experimental, and the research design is the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) Differences in improving the mathematical communication skills of students who used the exploratory learning model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe and students who used conventional learning, (2) the students' responses to the exploratory learning model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe. This research was conducted at SMP Daarul Qur'an class VIII A and VIII B on Circle material. Based on data analysis, the results of the study were: (1) There were differences in the increase in the mathematical communication skills of students who used the exploratory learning model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe and students who used conventional learning, (2) Students gave positive responses to the exploratory learning model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe. Thus the use of the explorative learning model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe is effective in increasing students' mathematical communication skills.
