Abstract

Perkembangan zaman menyebabkan teknologi digital berkembang dengan pesat, sehingga teknologi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pendidik untuk menjadi media dalam pembelajaran yang dapat memicu siswa agar memiliki kemampuan menganalisis dan memecahkan suatu masalah dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Game-Based Learning (GBL) berbantu wordwall terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimental dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian yaitu dua kelas eksperimen dan kontol yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata posttest sebesar 71,4 dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas kontrol memperoleh hasil rata-rata posttest sebesar 63,63. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa model pembelajaran GameBased Learning (GBL) berbantu wordwall berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem. ENGLISH : The development of the times has caused digital technology to develop rapidly, so that this technology can be used by educators to become a medium for learning that can trigger students to have the ability to analyze and solve problems well. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Game-Based Learning (GBL) learning model assisted by wordwall on students' critical thinking skills in ecosystem material. The research method uses quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research samples were two experimental and control classes, each consisting of 30 students. The results of the research showed that the critical thinking ability of students in the experimental class obtained a posttest average of 71.4 and the critical thinking ability of students in the control class obtained an average posttest result of 63.63. The results of the hypothesis test show a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So the conclusion from this research is that the Game-Based Learning (GBL) learning model assisted by wordwall has a positive effect on students' critical thinking abilities in ecosystem material.
