Speaking is one of the abilities that need to be learned by EFL Learners. However, many students find it is hard to speak in English. Many students encounter speaking problems, such as nothing to say, lack of confidence, unprepared, lack of vocabulary, and unmotivated. Hence, this research aims to implement infographic media to reduce the problems occur. This current research aims to find out students’ speaking performance before using informational infographic media, students’ speaking performance after using informational infographic media, and the significant improvement between before and after using informational infographic media. A quantitative method with pre-experimental design was used in this research. The research took place at Labschool UPI Junior High School Cibiru, Bandung. The population of this research was taken from the ninth grade of regular class, and the sample in this research was the students of ninth grade of regular class B that consists of 30 students. The research was done in six meetings includes pre-test and post-test. The data analysis was calculated using SPSS 26. The result of the research shows that there was significant improvement of students’ speaking performance using infographic media. The mean score of the pre-test is 49,52, the highest score in this activity is 76 and the lowest score is 20. While in the pre-test, the students’ speaking score is higher than the pre-test, it can be seen from the mean score in the pre-test that reached 66,48, the maximum score is 88, and the lowest is 44. Therefore, the hypothesis result shows that the t-table is lower than the t-count, the t-table is 1,4 and the t-count is 10,797. it is the evidence to accept the first hypothesis of this research which is Ha is accepted and the H0 is rejected. In another word, using infographic in speaking significantly helps students to improve their speaking performance as well. based on the N gain score that has been analysed in the previous chapter, the improvement of students’ speaking skills reached medium level, it is 0,3324. The score can be categorized as medium level because the score is between 0,3 – 0,7. It is possibly assumed that the use of infographic can be used to improve students’ speaking performance in the classroom. In conclusion based on the research findings, there are significance improvements of students’ speaking performance after using infographics media. The improvement is proven by the post-test score that is higher than the pre-test score. So, it is suggested that English teachers can use infographics as the media to teach English speaking in the classroom.
