Abstract
Disclaimer, this research not intended to be self-diagnosed by the Poet or for the reader. This research only Describing the Poet's claims and intentions about inner child In this research. This research dicussed Poet's Claim about inner Child in the poetry book "Milk and Honey" by Rupi Kaur and "Please Love Me at My Worst" by Michaela Angeemeer then determine the differences. The Researcher applies the id ego superego theory by Sigmund Freud to analyze the poem of both Poetry books which then supported by the theory of comparative Literature to compare the two books. This research uses a qualitative method, Because the data analyzed are words taken from the book script. The data Collection technique used is documentation study because the Poetry books is the Source of data. The researcher used the technique of analyzing data based on the Theory of psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud which was then compared with the Theory of comparative literature. The results found are this research can conclude that Children want to be love by their parent, Children want to be safe and to be happy. And how childhood memories influent someone's life to adulthood.
