Abstract
indonesia Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan terdapat fenomena bahwa kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka pada anak belum optimal. Hal ini terihat dari adanya anak yang kesulitan dalam memahami konsep bilangan dan angka seperti membedakan banyak/sedikit dari jumlah benda, membilang benda, membuat urutan bilangan dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka sebelum diterapkan permainan bowling matematika; 2) Penerapan permainan bowling matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka; dan 3) Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka setelah diterapkan permainan bowling matematika di kelompok A TKQ Al-Huda Antapani Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada asumsi teori bahwa permainan bowling matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka. Permainan bowling matematika merupakan salah satu permainan yang efektif untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak serta dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka sebagai landasan perkembangan kognitif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Tindakan yang dilakukan mengacu pada model yang dipaparkan oleh Kemmis Mc Taggart yaitu: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah observasi, dokumentasi dan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka sebelum diterapkan permainan bowling matematika diperoleh nilai rata-rata 40,95 dengan kategori kurang sekali; 2) Penerapan permainan bowling matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka dilihat dari aktivitas guru dan aktivitas anak mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh aktivitas guru pada siklus I diperoleh ratarata sebesar 70,59% dengan kategori cukup, dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 94,12% dengan kategori sangat baik. Demikian pula hasil analisis aktivitas anak pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 50,88% dengan kategori kurang sekali, dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 71,93% dengan kategori cukup; dan 3) Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka setelah diterapkan permainan bowling matematika pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 57,37 dengan kategori kurang, siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 73,10 dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, artinnya permainan bowling matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dan angka. ENGLISH Based on the results of the preliminary study, there is a phenomenon that the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers in children is not optimal. This can be seen from the presence of children who have difficulty in understanding the concept of numbers and numbers such as distinguishing a lot/little from the number of objects, counting objects, making number sequences and so on. The aims of this study were to determine: 1) the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers before applying the mathematical bowling game; 2) Application of mathematical bowling games to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers; and 3) The ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers after the mathematics bowling game was applied in group A of TKQ Al-Huda Antapani Bandung City. This research is based on the theoretical assumption that mathematical bowling games can improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers. Mathematical bowling game is one of the effective games to optimize the growth and development of children and can develop the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers as the foundation of cognitive development. The method used is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. The actions taken refer to the model described by Kemmis Mc Taggart, namely: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation and performance. The results showed that: 1) The ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers before applying the mathematical bowling game obtained an average score of 40.95 with a very poor category; 2) The application of mathematical bowling games to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers seen from the activities of teachers and children's activities has increased every cycle. This is indicated by the teacher's activity in the first cycle obtained an average of 70.59% in the sufficient category, and in the second cycle an average of 94.12% was obtained in the very good category. Similarly, the results of the analysis of children's activities in the first cycle obtained an average of 50.88% with a very poor category, and in the second cycle an average of 71.93% was obtained with a sufficient category; and 3) The ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers after applying the mathematical bowling game in the first cycle obtained an average value of 57.37 with a poor category, the second cycle obtained an average value of 73.10 with a good category. Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted, meaning that mathematical bowling games can improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers and numbers.
