Abstract
This study analysed the types of masculinity contained in The Iron Claw (2023) movie and the construction of each character masculinity in The Iron Claw (2023) movie. The formulation of the problem in this study is divided into two, namely (1) How many types of masculinity in The Iron Claw (2023) movie? (2.) How are the construction of masculinity in each character in The Iron Claw (2023) movie? This study aims to analyse the how many masculinity types happened in The Iron Claw (2023) movie and how each character constructs the three masculinity types. This study uses the theory from Raewyn Connell, Tristan Bridges, Michael Kimmel to find out how the masculinity appeared. Meanwhile, to find out the construction of masculinity in each character in the movie, Petrie and Boggs theory is used. This research used descriptive qualitative method. This research uses the scene and dialogues to get the result. From the results, this study showed that there are 3 different types of masculinity appeared in this movie.
