Abstract

INDONESIA : Pengambilan keputusan merupakan proses memilih satu dari beberapa alternatif pilihan karier dengan mempertimbangkan kecocokan antara minat, bakat, potensi, dan tujuan dengan karier yang dipilih. Dukungan sosial dapat membantu individu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri individu dalam menentukan pilihan karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan pengambilan keputusan karier pada fresh graduate. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek penelitian merupakan 156 fresh graduate jurusan Sejarah Peradaban Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung tahun kelulusan 2022-2023. Alat ukur menggunakan Skala Dukungan Sosial dan Skala Pengambilan Keputusan Karier. Hasil uji korelasi non parametrik Spearman Rho yang menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,663 dan nilai taraf signifikansi 0,000 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan pengambilan keputusan karier. Penelitian ini memiliki arah hubungan positif yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin efektif pengambilan keputusan karier. ENGLISH : Decision making is the process of choosing one of several alternative career options by considering the match between interests, talents, potential, and goals with the chosen career. Social support can help individuals increase individual confidence in making career choices. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and career decision making in fresh graduates. The research method used quantitative correlation. The research subjects were 156 fresh graduates majoring in the History of Islamic Civilization at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung in the 2022-2023 graduation year. Measuring instruments using the Social Support Scale and Career Decision Making Scale. The results of the Spearman Rho non-parametric correlation test showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.663 and a significance level value of 0.000 or less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), which means that there is a relationship between social support and career decision making. This study has a positive relationship direction which indicates that the higher the social support, the more effective career decision making.
