Abstract

INDONESIA: Setiap stasiun radio memiliki caranya masing-masing dalam menarik pendengar. Untuk hal itu tidak sedikit stasiun radio menggunakan berbagai cara seperti contohnya penggunaan gaya humor yang biasa stasiun radio terapkan atau sisipkan dalam acara program siarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara penyiar dalam menggunakan gaya bahasa humor yang biasa digunakan dalam siaran program Sarapan Pagi di 90.5 Fm radio Cakra. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini ingin mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh konsep humor yang digunakan sehingga memberikan dampak besar bagi stasiun radio tersebut. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori sense of humor dari Thorson dan Powel. Teori ini fokus pada cara bagaimana humor dibentuk hingga sampai ke pendengar dengan baik. Berdasarkan teori tersebut peneliti akan melibatkan infroman yang akan menjelaskan terkait apa yang akan diteliti sehingga akan dapat menarik kesimpulan dan jawab yang jelas.Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang akan menguraikan seluruh data yang berasal dari para informan sehingga dirangkum menjadi fokus penelitian. Metode yang digunakannya metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan atau menganalisis suatu hasil penelitian namun tidak digunakan untuk membuat kesimpulan yang lebih luas namun jelas.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa humor yang diciptakan pada acara siaran, penyiar program Sarapan Pagi radio Cakra memiliki cara yang sama, yakni spontan atau mengalir namun memilki ciri khas pembawaan yang berbeda. Diksi humor yang biasa dipilih oleh para penyiar radio Cakra tidak memiliki batasan. Namun selain diksi humor tersebut tidak melibatkan SARA, agama, politik dan juga pihak manapun. Sikap pendengar menurut para informan sangat konsisten, karena dilihat dari perkembangan rating radio yang jelas mengalami peningkatan dan rating yang telah diraih oleh radio Cakra ini akurat. ENGLISH: Each radio station has its own way of attracting listeners. For this reason, not a few radio stations use various methods such as the use of humor styles that radio stations usually apply or insert in their broadcast programs. This study aims to find out how broadcasters use the humorous language style that is commonly used in the broadcast of the Breakfast program on 90.5 Fm Cakra radio. Therefore, in this study, we want to find out how influential the concept of humor used is so that it has a big impact on the radio station. The theory used in this study uses the sense of humor theory of Thorson and Powel. This theory focuses on the way in which humor is formed to reach the listener well. Based on this theory, the researcher will involve an informant who will explain what will be researched so that he will be able to draw clear conclusions and answers. The approach used in this study is to use a qualitative approach that will decipher all the data from the informants so that it is summarized into the focus of the research. The method used is a descriptive method to describe or analyze a research result but is not used to make a broader but clear conclusion. The results of this study show that the humor created on the broadcast program, the broadcaster of the Cakra radio Breakfast program has the same way, which is spontaneous or flowing but has different characteristics. The humorous diction that Cakra radio announcers usually choose has no limits. However, apart from the humorous diction, it does not involve SARA, religion, politics and also any party. The attitude of listeners according to the informants is very consistent, because judging from the development of radio ratings which has clearly increased and the ratings that have been achieved by Cakra radio are accurated
