Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan calon gru fisika dalam merancang, mengimplementasikan, dan menyelesaikan masalah melalui pembelajaran STEM berbasis proyek. Fokus dari proyek ini adalah pembuatan kincir angin sebagai solusi untuk daerah daerah terpencilyang mengalami keterbatasan akses listrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang melibatkan 30 mahasiswa semester 6 Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrument penilaian dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar calon guru mampu menyelesaiakan masalah terkait proyek kincir angin dengan baik, masih terdapat beberapa kendala dalam aspek teknik dan matematika. Desain pembelajaran yang dikembangkan oleh calon guru menunjukan kreativitas dan kemampuan dalam menghubungkan teori dan praktik. Namun integrasi disiplin ilmu dalam satu kesatuan pembelajaran masih perlu diperkuat. Modul ajar yang dirancang untuk pembelajaran berbasis STEM menawarkan inovasi yang signifikan dalam mendukung integrasi sains, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika dalam satu kesatuan proyek. This study aims to evaluate physics teacher candidates' ability to design, implement, and solve problems through project-based STEM learning. The focus of this project is the manufacture of windmills as a solution for remote areas that experience limited access to electricity. This study used quantitative methods involving 30 6th semester students of the Physics Education Study Programme at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Data were collected through assessment and observation instruments. The results showed that although most of the prospective teachers were able to solve problems related to the windmill project well, there were still some obstacles in the technical and mathematical aspects. The learning design developed by prospective teachers showed creativity and ability in connecting theory and practice. However, the integration of disciplines in one learning unit still needs to be strengthened. Teaching modules designed for STEM-based learning offer significant innovation in supporting the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a unified project.
