Abstract

Representation is a depiction that reflects real events or facts. Meanwhile, morality refers to attitudes displayed by individuals, encompassing both good and bad behaviors, which are then acknowledged and accepted by others. In this context, it can be said that the culture and social life of a society can be represented through various mediums, one of which is literature, including the dialogues in films. This study aims to describe the representation of moral values portrayed by characters in the film " الفيلم مسامير "using the sociological approach to literature. The research is descriptive and based on qualitative data. The data for this study consists of dialogues from the characters in "الفيلم مسامير "that relate to the representation of moral values through the lens of literary sociology. The primary source of data is the film "الفيلم مسامير", which has a runtime of 1 hour and 50 minutes. Data collection was carried out using observation and note-taking methods. The findings reveal that the film contains various moral values, including the value of peace, responsibility, creativity, appreciation of heroes' achievements, tolerance, and religiosity
