Abstract
Triadic relations is how signs work in communication by examining the connections between different elements. This study aims to analyze the meaning conveyed by rune images and the relationship between text and image in Magic Chess from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The data obtained as the object of research are texts and images of runes in Magic Chess from the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The analysis is conducted using Charles Sanders Peirce's theory to explain how signs function and how meaning is derived from the text and images of runes in Magic Chess from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data found based on the interpretation of signs in the data. The results of the data analysis can be concluded as follows: First, the image design of the runes illustrates the meaning of the rune’s name as well these symbols, often derived from weapons of war, visually represent the danger and enigmatic nature of the runes. the design of runes mirroring the real-world counterparts. Second, the relationship between the text name and the image of the runes to describe the developer is reason given the name and image of the item which each runes has different strength. Highlight the importance of runes in identifying synergies, weaknesses, and strategic opportunities for team composition. By understanding the meaning conveyed through both text and image, players can make informed decisions and avoid mistakes while utilizing runes in the game
