Abstract

INDONESIA: Bandung.go.id merupakan portal resmi milik Pemerintah Kota Bandung yang memfasilitasi penyampaian informasi publik secara terbuka, cepat, dan akurat. Sebagai media digital pemerintah, Bandung.go.id memiliki kebijakan redaksional yang diterapkan secara sistematis melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu proses seleksi, proses verifikasi, dan proses publikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam bagaimana kebijakan redaksional tersebut dijalankan, serta bagaimana proses kerja redaksional mampu mendukung prinsip keterbukaan informasi publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kegiatan redaksional Bandung.go.id. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses seleksi dilakukan melalui penilaian terhadap relevansi tema, kesesuaian substansi dengan misi pemerintah, serta nilai informatif dan edukatif. Tim redaksi bertindak sebagai gatekeeper yang menyaring naskah berdasarkan pedoman editorial, termasuk kebijakan internal dan kode etik jurnalistik. Tahap verifikasi dilakukan secara berjenjang, melibatkan reviewer internal, persetujuan oleh Kepala Bidang Diseminasi Informasi atau Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika, serta pengecekan sumber melalui klarifikasi ke dinas terkait. Tahap publikasi mencakup proses penyuntingan akhir, pengunggahan konten ke portal web, penyesuaian visual, dan distribusi ke kanal media sosial resmi. Proses kebijakan redaksional yang diterapkan Bandung.go.id menunjukkan bahwa portal ini tidak sekadar berfungsi sebagai media penyampai informasi, tetapi juga berperan sebagai gatekeeper yang strategis dalam komunikasi publik. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip jurnalistik seperti seleksi, verifikasi, dan publikasi secara berjenjang, Bandung.go.id memastikan bahwa setiap informasi yang dipublikasikan memiliki akurasi tinggi, relevansi, serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan kebijakan komunikasi pemerintah. Hasil penelitian ini menguatkan pentingnya kebijakan redaksional dalam menjaga kualitas dan kredibilitas informasi publik yang disampaikan melalui media pemerintah. ENGLISH: Bandung.go.id is the official portal of the Bandung City Government that facilitates the delivery of public information in an open, fast, and accurate manner. As a government-owned digital media platform, Bandung.go.id applies an editorial policy systematically through three main stages: the selection process, the verification process, and the publication process. This study aims to describe in detail how the editorial policy is implemented and how the editorial workflow supports the principles of public information transparency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of the editorial activities at Bandung.go.id. The findings indicate that the selection process is carried out by evaluating the relevance of topics, the alignment of content with government missions, and its informative and educational value. The editorial team acts as a gatekeeper, filtering content based on editorial guidelines, internal policies, and journalistic ethics. The verification process involves a tiered system: internal review, approval from the Head of Information Dissemination or the Head of the Communication and Information Department, and source validation with the relevant agencies. The publication stage includes final editing, web uploading, visual adjustment, and distribution through official social media channels. The editorial policy applied by Bandung.go.id demonstrates that the portal functions not merely as an information distributor, but also as a strategic gatekeeper in public communication. By implementing journalistic principles such as selection, verification, and tiered publication, Bandung.go.id ensures the accuracy, relevance, and alignment of its content with public needs and government communication agendas. These findings highlight the significance of editorial policy in maintaining the quality and credibility of public information shared through official government media.
