Abstract
INDONESIA: Penurunan produktivitas tanaman kailan (Brassica oleraceae L.) disebabkan oleh penggunaan pupuk yang kurang tepat, yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas dan kesuburan tanah. Kombinasi antara pupuk hayati dan pupuk NPK menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman sekaligus memperbaiki kesuburan tanah secara berkelanjutan, serta mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pupuk anorganik tanpa menurunkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi pupuk hayati dengan NPK yang paling efektif terhadap efisiensi pemupukan, pertumbuhan, dan hasil tanaman kailan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 14 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa kombinasi dosis pupuk hayati (0 ml L-1, 5 ml L-1, 10 ml L-1, dan 15 ml L-1) dengan pupuk NPK (0%, 50%, 75%, dan 100%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi pemberian pupuk hayati dengan pupuk NPK berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kailan, yang ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, warna daun, dan berat basah tanaman. Pupuk hayati dosis 5 ml L⁻¹ dengan 75% NPK mampu mengurangi penggunaan pupuk NPK sebesar 25% tanpa menurunkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kailan. ENGLISH: The decline in kailan (Brassica oleracea L.) productivity is primarily caused by improper fertilizer application, which negatively affects soil quality and fertility. The combination of biofertilizer and NPK fertilizer offers an effective solution to enhance crop yield while simultaneously improving soil fertility in a sustainable manner and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers without compromising productivity. This study aimed to determine the most effective combination of biofertilizer with NPK in improving fertilizer efficiency, plant growth, and yield of kailan. The experiment was conducted using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 14 treatment combinations and 3 replications. The treatments consisted of various doses of biofertilizer (0 ml L⁻¹, 5 ml L⁻¹, 10 ml L⁻¹, and 15 ml L⁻¹) combined with NPK fertilizer at different levels (0%, 50%, 75%, and 100%). The results showed that the combination of biofertilizer and NPK fertilizer significantly influenced the growth and yield of kailan, as reflected by increases in plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf color, and fresh weight. The application of 5 mL L⁻¹ biofertilizer combined with 75% NPK was found to reduce NPK fertilizer use by 25% without negatively affecting the growth and yield of kailan.
