Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana strategi komunikasi politik yang dilakukan oleh Dadang Supriatna dalam menyampaikan pesan dan membangun hubungan dengan masyarakat Kabupaten Bandung selama proses Pilkada 2024. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk dan cara komunikasi politik yang digunakan oleh Dadang Supriatna dalam menyampaikan visi, misi,dan program kerja kepada masyarakat dengan menyesuaikan karakter pemilih di Kabupaten Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan tim sukses dan masyarakat, observasi lapangan, serta dokumentasi dari berbagai sumber yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi politik Dadang Supriatna dijalankan melalui pendekatan yang menyesuaikan dengan karakter pemilih. Terhadap pemilih parokial, komunikasi dilakukan dengan cara mendekatkan diri kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosial dan keagamaan. Kepada pemilih subjek, komunikasi dilakukan melalui media massa dan media sosial dengan menonjolkan program kerja dan hasil pembangunan yang telah dicapai. Sedangkan terhadap pemilih partisipan, komunikasi dilakukan dengan membuka ruang dialog dan keterlibatan masyarakat secara langsung. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan Dadang Supriatna dalam Pilkada Kabupaten Bandung 2024 tidak hanya karena dukungan politik atau kekuatan partai, tetapi karena kemampuannya membangun komunikasi yang dekat dengan masyarakat. Strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan bersifat terbuka, berkelanjutan, dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai sosial masyarakat Kabupaten Bandung. English : This research focuses on how Dadang Supriatna carried out his political communication strategy in delivering messages and building relationships with the people of Bandung Regency during the 2024 local election process. The purpose of this study is to find out the forms and methods of political communication used by Dadang Supriatna in conveying his vision, mission, and work programs to the public by adjusting them to the characteristics of voters in Bandung Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews with the campaign team and the community, field observations, and documentation from various relevant sources. The results show that Dadang Supriatna’s political communication strategy was implemented through approaches that were adjusted to the characteristics of different types of voters. For parochial voters, communication was carried out by engaging directly with the community through social and religious activities. For subject voters, communication was conducted through mass media and social media by highlighting work programs and the results of development that had been achieved. Meanwhile, for participant voters, communication was done by opening space for dialogue and direct public involvement. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that Dadang Supriatna’s success in the 2024 Bandung Regency Election was not only due to political or party support, but also because of his ability to build close and continuous communication with the community. The communication strategy implemented was open, ongoing, and in line with the social values of Bandung Regency society
