Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh berbagai jenis instalasi sistem akuaponik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jatinangor, Sumedang, Jawa Barat, selama dua bulan, dari November 2023 hingga Januari 2024. Sistem akuaponik merupakan metode pertanian terpadu yang menggabungkan budidaya ikan dan tanaman dalam satu ekosistem. Tiga jenis instalasi yang digunakan yaitu vertikultur, Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), dan rakit apung. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan sembilan ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot segar, dan tingkat mortalitas ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis instalasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan pakcoy. Instalasi vertikultur memberikan hasil terbaik dengan rata-rata tinggi tanaman 20,89 cm, jumlah daun 12,39 helai, luas daun 99,04 cm², dan bobot segar 62,89 gram. Mortalitas ikan juga terendah pada sistem ini, yaitu 20%. Keunggulan ini diduga berasal dari distribusi nutrisi yang merata dan efisiensi ruang. Sebaliknya, sistem rakit apung menunjukkan pertumbuhan terendah, dengan tinggi tanaman hanya 5,82 cm dan bobot segar 1,02 gram. Instalasi NFT menghasilkan performa menengah di antara keduanya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa vertikultur merupakan instalasi terbaik dalam sistem akuaponik untuk budidaya pakcoy. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan teknologi pertanian berkelanjutan. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different aquaponic system installations on the growth of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). The research was conducted in Jatinangor, West Java, from November 2023 to January 2024. Aquaponics is an integrated farming method that combines fish and plant cultivation within a mutually supportive ecosystem. Three types of systems were tested: vertical culture, Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), and floating raft. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with three treatments and nine replications. Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight, and fish mortality. The results showed that the type of installation significantly affected pakcoy growth. The vertical system performed best, with average plant height of 20.89 cm, 12.39 leaves per plant, leaf area of 99.04 cm², and the highest fresh weight of 62.89 grams. This system also had the lowest fish mortality rate, at 20%. Its advantages are likely due to more even nutrient flow and efficient space use, which promote optimal nutrient and oxygen uptake. In contrast, the floating raft system showed the weakest results, with a plant height of 5.82 cm and a fresh weight of only 1.02 grams. The NFT system yielded moderate results, falling between the other two. In conclusion, vertical culture proved to be the most effective installation for pakcoy cultivation in aquaponics, supporting better plant growth and providing a more stable aquatic environment.
